Landscapers, fence and irrigation crews

The ticket is clear. The yard is not.

You know the day. The 811 ticket is done, the crew is on site with the auger or the trencher, and the first post hole finds the irrigation main, or the second finds the low-voltage lighting, or the trench for the French drain finds the gas line to the fire pit. None of it was marked, because 811 stops at the meter and everything in the yard is private.

We mark the private side before your crew arrives: irrigation, lighting, gas to the grill or fire pit, power to the shed or the gate, the sewer lateral, the well line. Electromagnetic locating for what carries a signal, ground-penetrating radar for what does not, paint in APWA color code where the line runs, and a written note of anything we could not find so your crew knows where to hand-dig.

How contractors use us. Route Day when you can give us a few days' notice: we pick the date and batch your stops with others nearby, which is the cheapest way to get a yard marked. Priority when the date is fixed. Each job is invoiced separately with the homeowner's name or your PO on it, so your office can match it to the job. When the paint fades before the crew gets there, a re-mark is a smaller charge than a locate.

From the job log: a steady run of residential locates for one contractor across Colorado Springs and Monument this year, on Pinehurst Drive, Valle Verde Drive, Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard, Chianti Court, Marble Arch Court and Blodgett Drive, including re-marks and shared-path work.

Send the addresses and the dig dates through the request form, or call or text (719) 800-4937, and we send a firm number for each one.
